Shendish Manor Hotel, Hertfordshire

Another multi-disciplinary commission, proposals for the grounds of this Grade II Listed Hotel set within the Metropolitan Green Belt include a £16m pavilion providing an additional 30 bedrooms, conferencing/function facilities and a self-contained leisure centre with swimming pool, gym and treatment rooms, designed by multi-award winning Architects Tooley Foster Partnership.

Open Spaces has provided a full range of tree and landscape related services, including tree consultancy, restoration management report, outline hard and soft landscape design and proposals for a contemporary wedding garden, all set within the formal grounds designed in the 19th Century by Edward Kemp.

The successful landscape scheme met with the approval of Dacorum Borough Council and with planning permission granted, the project will now move into its construction phase.
